Prayer (When I Am Overwhelmed, Burdened Down)

Father God,

* My Bible tells me that you are my very present help in a time of trouble. (Ps.46:1)

* My Bible tells me that you are always with me. (Matthew 28:20)

* My Bible tells me that you can do the impossible. (Matthew 19:26)

* My Bible tells me that you will never leave me, nor forsaken me. (Hebrews 13:5)

I believe this to be true. But, today, I find myself feeling overwhelmed with the cares of this world. I find myself feeling as if no one cares. I find myself heavy laden with trouble. So, I look to YOU. God, YOU said - in your WORD - we are to walk by faith and not by sight. I ask, in the name of Jesus, that - as I walk -YOU would

-flood my thoughts with YOUR thoughts, (Is. 55:9, Jer. 29:11)

-keep my mind stayed on thee, (Is. 26:3)

-overshadow me with YOUR presence, (Ps. 91:1)

-guide my footsteps, (Ps. 119:133)

-be a lamp unto my feet, (Ps.119:105)

-cast away my fear, and (Jn 4:18, 2 Tim. 1:7)

-prosper me in all my ways . (Josh. 1:7,8)

Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer.

In the name of Jesus,

Amen

  2. 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Thank you for agreeing with me; May God continue to bless you and all of your endeavors!

Thank you, Father, that your WORD does not fail me.

Your WORD is true.

It is sharper than any two-headed sword.

Unlike, man, your WORD does not lie, but it accomplishes everything that it was sent forth to do.

Thank you for your WORD that comforts in a time of sorrow,
strengthens in times of weakness,
heals in times of sickness,
provides in times of lack,
nourishes in times of famine,
gives freedom in times of bondage,
protects in times of danger and has the ability to make possible any and every impossible situation!

In the name of JESUS, I thank you and I exalt you!

  1. I said a prayer similar to this today. I have to speak the word out loud because faith comes by hearing, so no matter what thins look like, I pray and speak words of life just like this prayer you have posted. Great post!

Today I Choose …

To view and comment on original post, click here.

Today, I choose to be thankful. In spite of the fact that things are not as good as they seem, nor are things as bad as they seem. I choose to focus on that which is positive. Thank you, God, for your bountiful blessings. Thank you that YOU are God and without you, there is none other. Open my eyes, today, so that I may only see the good. You said, in your WORD, that we are to give thanks in everything (not for everything, but in everything). Thank you, God, for keeping my mind focused on that which is true, honest, pure, lovely, virtuous, praiseworthy and of a good report.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Confession Against Satan's Attacks

We come boldly against

- the weapons of the enemy

- the will of the enemy and

- the workings of the enemy.

We denounce his power in our lives. We cancel his assignments. We serve him an eviction notice effective right now. We evict him from our mind. We shall have peace. We evict him from our body. By Jesus’ stripes, we are healed. We evict him from our finances. We are blessed - to the full, in abundance, and to it overflows. We reject his credit and we refuse his offers today, tomorrow and in the future. We refuse to allow him to grant us sickness ,disease or poverty right now or forevermore.

Prayer: Bridle My Tongue!

Psalm 141:3 Set a guard over my mouth, O LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Enable me to bridle my tongue when I am tempted to say things that I will later regret or things that I don’t necessarily mean. Teach me to say what you would say concerning all situations, and help me to know that when I respond in silence that silence is not a bad thing. Even Your son, Jesus, responded in silence as He took his finger and wrote on the ground in John 8:6. Thank you, Father, that I understand that bridling the tongue is a practice of true Christianity because your Word says in James 1:26 that If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

(Prayer) Cast Your Cares On Him

Lord, The Great I Am,give me the mindset to understand that I can NOT change other people -I can only change me. Thank you, God, for renewing my mind so that I will not manipulate others into doing things my way. Thank you, God, for allowing me to realize that if you don’t change them then it won’t be done through any efforts of my own.

With your help,
I WILL take my hands off of the situation, and
I WILL trust you to fix it or to do what you would with it.

Father, in Jesus name, I turn this person, this problem, and this situation over to you. I cast the anxiety, the distress, and the pain over onto YOU. Help me to walk in peace regarding this matter.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Prayer For  The Haters

Thank you , Lord, for allowing me to experience your very presence this day. Give me a portion of your enabling ability that will prevent me from being sensitive to the negative influences of other people. Show me how to walk and show me how to talk when I am in the midst of haters. I will not pay attention to their faces , nor will I be moved by their negative comments. I WILL lift up mine eyes unto YOU. I WILL keep my mind stayed on thee. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Psalm 121:1
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
Psalm 121:1-3 (in Context) Psalm 121 (Whole Chapter)

Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Daily Prayer For the New Year
Heavenly Father,

I bless your Holy Name. This is the day that you hath made. I will rejoice and I will be glad in it. Because it is You whom I seek, it is You whom I serve. Therefore, I will not strive to please man and all of his ever changing ways. You, God, never change. Thank You, God, for being the same - yesterday, today, and forevermore. As I begin this day, I will work as if you are my employer. Prosper me in all that I put my hand to do. Order my every step. For the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Thank you for Your Word and for your blessings this day - in Jesus' name, Amen.

Saturday, July 17, 2010Prayer For Today

Heavenly Father,
You are awesome, majestic and wonderful.
Today, gird me up with your might to face the situation that is before me. This situation is too big for me. This mountain – I can’t climb. This valley – I can’t cross. This tunnel – I can’t go through. I can’t face this giant alone. Your Word reminds me that you are with me always. Thank you for being with me. Thank you for ordering my steps. Guide me and guard me every step of the way. Bless my coming in and my going out. In Jesus’ name - Amen.

Remember:
If it is too big for you, it is just right for Almighty God!

FORGIVE!!!

To view or comment on original post, click here.
How do you forgive someone who mistreats you when they never apologize and ask for forgiveness? How do you forgive someone that claims to be a christian, yet they mistreat you over and over again? How do you forgive someone that misuses their position to argue their point of view? How do you forgive someone that never admits when he is wrong?

I know that the Bible admonishes us to forgive. However, human emotions attempt to hinder forgiveness. Emotions have a way of preventing us from forgetting the hurt, embarassment, pain, degradation, humiliation, etc. Yet, we must forgive. If we expect Christ to forgive us, we must forgive the mean, low-down, perpetrator

-that inflicted the pain,
-that caused embarrassment,
-that inflicted physical abuse,
-that verbally degraded,
-that mentally tortured,
-that took advantage of the weak.

Prayer
Lord, I forgive _____________ for ________________. Show ______________ the error of his/her ways. To forgive is an act, not an emotion. Therefore, I ask you, God, to take away the pain, and all ill feelings that I have toward _________________. Your Word reminds me that if I forgive others , you will forgive me. Thank you, God, for forgiveness. Bless the one that has caused me harm. - In Jesus name, AMEN.
