Hmm - How Far?

I'm vacationing with my sister in beautiful Santorini, Greece. Santorini (official name - Thira/Thera) is a Greek Island.

Today, I was wondering just how far Santorini is from the churches that Saul/Paul wrote to in the New Testament.  So, I decided to do a bit of research.  And, this is what I put together based on my research.

I am super excited to be vacationing in Santorini, Greece overlooking the Aegean Sea!!!

Quick BIBLE LESSON 

1. The Island of Patmos lies in the Aegean Sea. (John wrote Revelation on the Isle of Patmos - Revelation 1:9)
2. During Paul's 2nd missionary journey, Paul sailed from Troas to Samothracia (Samothracia is located in the Aegean Sea - Acts 16:11.
3. Crete (Acts 27:7), Rhodes (Acts 21:1), Miletus (Acts 20:15), Assos (Acts 20:13), and Ephesus (Acts 19:10) sit squarely on or border the Aegean basin.
