Fortify Yourselves!

We are in a season whereby diabolical attacks orchestrated by witchcraft spirits, sorcery and demon activity are at an all-time high.  Therefore, we must fortify ourselves so that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil!  A depleted, weak soldier is ill-equipped to defeat a strong foe.  Therefore, we must renew our body, our mind and our spirit to prepare for spiritual warfare.  The enemy oftentimes rears its head when we are in a depleted, weakened state.  When we are weak, we become vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks.  That is why the WORD of GOD admonishes us to “build yourselves up in your most holy faith;” (Jude, verse 20).

Fortify yourselves!  An army has no use for a soldier who can’t fight.  When David returned to his camp at Ziklag, he found a sick warrior who had been abandoned by his army.  They left the man to die because he was ill-equipped to be of service.  David’s men fed the sick soldier and revived him.  Where the man was no longer useful to the Amalekites, he became very useful to David.

Fortify yourselves!  The enemy is on the prowl - seeking whom he may destroy.

  1. Fortify your mind by casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of the Most High God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (2 Corinthians 10:5).

  2. Fortify your spirit by praying in the Holy Spirit, (Jude, vs. 20).  When you pray, allow your spirit man to commune with HIM.  Your words must be in alignment with HIS WORD!

  3. Fortify your body with the proper nutrition and adequate rest.  Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit! (1 Corinthians 6:19)

We must prepare ourselves for battle so that in the evil day we are well-equipped.  The enemy has very well prepared his army.  His cohorts are standing in wait - looking for every opportunity to invade our body, our mind and our spirit.

And I, behold, I make you this day a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land.

Jeremiah 1:18

After This ...

1 Peter 5:10

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

There  WILL BE glory after this. After what? Whatever you are facing right now.

After the pain -

After the brokenness -

After the divorce -

After the sickness -

After the embarrassment and the humiliation -

After the bankruptcy -

After the ______________________ (fill in the blank) -

It may not look like it. It may not feel like it. It may not seem like it. But, there will be glory after this.  There will be victory after this.  The WORD promises that we walk by faith and not by sight. Hang on in there. Stand your ground - even in the middle of the battle that you are in. For, the battle does not go to the swift, nor to the strong. But, it goes to the one that endures unto the end.

Galatians 6:9
(KJV)

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

James 1:12
(KJV)

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Ecclesiastes 9:11
(KJV)

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

Shabbat Shalom (Psalm 55:17)

Prove It! (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

Oftentimes, when we try to convey to others the magnitude of an ordeal, it becomes difficult to produce the words that adequately describe the plethora of emotions (hurt, the disregard/disrespect, the guilt, the humiliation, the pain, the shame, the embarrassment, the guilt,...)  that are associated with the ordeal.  A picture, a recording and/or a video can be the perfect proof that IT did occur.  When there is proof, it is more difficult for others to attempt to invalidate the obvious.

Prove all things;
