On June 21st, I completed the 21 day Daniel Fast!

  • I experienced no indigestion after eating beans - interesting observation.  Could it be the lack of added sugars, the lack of dairy and meat?  --hmm
  • I really don’t have to add any sweeteners to my oatmeal.  Fresh fruit and raisins are enough.
  • During the fast, I did not experience the heaviness that I often feel after eating certain meals.
  • I plan to periodically use the Daniel Fast for cleansing.

    Your observation about the beans could be right, but you can test your hypothesis to see. Beans tend to be harder to digest for some people, but when other foods like the dairy and meat are added, it could possibly make it even harder.
