Order Starts in the Home

Let all things be done decently and in order.

1 Corinthians 14:40

The Most High (El Elyon) is the GOD of order. HE has ordered the universe so that parents/guardians come before the children (cats before kittens, sheep before the lambs, cows before the calf, the deer before the fawn,...). According to HIS order, parents/guardians are given their position to guard, to guide, and to grow their children - just as the GOOD SHEPHERD does for HIS sheep.

Without a guard, children become prey for the predators of this world. And, there are many predators roaming about in the Earth realm seeking the at-risk, seeking the exposed, seeking the unprotected, seeking the vulnerable. (1 Peter 5:8 …your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.) Parents/guardians are assigned to be a shield of protection from the evils of the world. It is the parent/guardian’s mandate to safeguard the child - not only in the physical realm but also in the spiritual realm through prayer and supplication! There are TOO many thieves that have gained access to the pasture and are leading the children astray. 🐏🐑🐏🐑

Without a guide, children are like arrows with no target - free to land in any direction that the wind blows. It is the parent/guardian’s assignment to teach and to direct the children (NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND). This is GOD’s order! Children must be taught from a very young age.

(Isaiah 54:3 All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace.)✏️
(Ephesians 6:4 Fathers, don’t stir up anger in your children, but bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.)🧑🏿‍🏫 📜
(Psalms 127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of the youth.) An arrow in the hand of a mighty man has a specific target! Is the target success or is it failure? 🏹🎯

Without growth, children fail to thrive. The Most High God has assigned parents/guardians with the responsibility to foster growth and development within the child. This growth and development has less to do with what is ingested and more of what is instilled. In addition, growth and development has much to do with the mindset- having everyday, "walking-around" sense to be able to (not only) survive, but to also thrive! Parents/guardians and those who are in authority are positioned to provide a foundation that is suitable for growth. This foundation should include the following:

Cleanliness: Provide an environment that is conducive for growth. Just as bacteria and germs multiply in filthy conditions, so do bad habits and perverse behavior. Children have NO business hearing, seeing and participating in certain activities/events/things.🙈🙉🙊
Discipline: Children need correction. Do what you say and say what you do!!! Establish clear consequences and make them known from the beginning. ↔️
Routine: Establish times when certain things will be done, and practice doing those things at the established time until a routine is set. (Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:) ⏰

Parents have a mandate from the Most High God to rear their children in the nurture and admonition of God so that they will be productive, law-abiding citizens in society and in the kingdom of GOD!
