Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to
 refrain from embracing;

 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

  1. Hey My Friend ~

    As a counselor, I'm a big believer in seasons of life. They change, we morph, we let go of what no longer is healthy or works well, we embrace what God has in the fresh season.

    Love this passage!

    1. Yes, Linda. We do morph, and sometimes the "morphing" can be painful. However, we must know , with full assurance, that the "morphing" has purpose.

    1. Kalley, if we can ever get a full understanding that we run on HIS timing, I believe that we would live a less stressful life!

  5. Hi There! I am coming over from The Sunday Community.

    And I wonder what 'time' it will be today? That's the mystery and joy of living in the moment of God. What a lovely scripture to lead into Sunday!

  8. This is one of my very favorite scriptures. It reminds me of how He didn't create just one layer of each of us - with one emotion, one type of event - He created us and life so multi-faceted that we could live a lifetime and not be bored:)Wishing you time for what your heart needs this week!

    1. Absolutely! Our God is so amazing to be able to do all of that and much more. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all!

  9. Time. We are so bound by it, yet in God's economy, it is limitless. He sets the times and seasons for each of His children. Thank you, Lord!

  10. Need to focus, moment-by-moment, at what is in our plate, on our lap, in our eyes, so we can make the right God-choice, put our hearts, souls, and feet in the right direction.

    Thank you much.
